Company
Brenntag was founded in 1874. Today, it is one of the leading distributors of chemical products worldwide. The company has more than 300 offices in 50 countries and employs more than 10.000 people.
The decision for Infopark’s CMS was made in 1999 due to the rapidly growing amount of content of their websites. Infopark realised the CMS implementation project in collaboration with with Brenntag’s IT department.
Internet
Today, not only the web presence of the Brenntag Group and their German division is maintained with Infopark CMS Fiona but also many more websites all around the world. Next to Spain, Portugal and Scandinavia, the software solution is also used in Latin America and China. Infopark CMS Fiona is also used for some of Brenntag’s product websites.
All websites are presented in a unique corporate design. They offer information about the company as well as products and the available services. The pages score about 1.2 million hits per month.
Intranet
The Brenntag intranet enjoys great popularity. With Infopark CMS Fiona, the content generated for the Internet and the intranet can be reused in different locations. The CMS enables its users to manage and maintain an Internet and an intranet presence with very little effort.
