The City of Düsseldorf maintains its extensive information offer in the Internet with the content management system (CMS) of Infopark since 2000 |
Existing data were continuously prepared and transferred into the Content Management System by Babiel GmbH, a partner company of Infopark. New contents can easily be published by employees of the City of Düsseldorf without any skills in programming or HTML. This procedure offers the advantage, that contents can be directly put online. That saves additional efforts due to external agencies or IT-departments.
Apart from the simple and user friendly operation, especially for editors, the cms offers many useful tools, simplyfying daily processes. Office documents can be imported into the CMS via import interfaces. Input masks help creating contents. For generating animations automatisms are provided.
Special features of this projekt are an extensive document service, including a convenient search function and a clear arrangement due to a classification according to key words from A to Z. A variety of forms can be completed and returned online. Additionally, appointments can be arranged, using an online form.
