Since 2001 the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia holds a license to use Infopark CMS Fiona state wide. Numerous projects have been completed, amongst others nine ministries and five district councils realized their internet and intranet presences with Infopark CMS Fiona.

The Ministry for Work, Integration and Social Affairs of North Rhine-Westphalia built several internet applications with Infopark CMS Fiona, amongst others the website of the ministry itself, a portal for occupational health and safety and a knowledge portal.

All of the five regional authorities in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) use Infopark's CMS Fiona for managing their web presences. The system is also used for maintaining the web presences of minor public auhorities as well as for their intranets.
