The department of Justice of North Rhine Westphalia (NRW) joins all internet and intranet presences of the 250 authorities it is composed of under one roof. For this, Infopark CMS Fiona is used. |
In a major project, extensive websites such as the NRW Justice Department’s portal and intranet as well as several smaller websites of authorities were implemented. Special attention was payed to a unique corporate design and barrier-free accessibility of the pages.
“The ambitious aim to create a common barrier-free and modern platform for the intranet and internet systems of the NRW Justice Department was achieved. The new system is definitely one we can identify ourselves with”, said Hans-Joachim Klein, Project Manager of “Justiz-Online”.
Awards for www.podknast.de
The project www.podknast.de encourages young offenders to think about an deal with their depravations. The site provides audio and video podcasts. 2010 it won the Web Dialog Award in the category “community” on the Infopark Internet Congress. Furthermore, the site received the Dieter Baacke price, which is awarded for exemplary media projects with children, adolescents and families. www.podknast.de has also been realized with Infopark CMS Fiona.

Since 2001 the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia holds a license to use Infopark CMS Fiona state wide. Numerous projects have been completed, amongst others nine ministries and five district councils realized their internet and intranet presences with Infopark CMS Fiona.
