Decision for Infopark CMS Fiona
Before Infopark CMSvFiona was implemented, the allocation of information was divided on several different media like paper, distribution lists, data systems, and mail. Nowadays all pieces of information are effortlessly available on the Internet and Intranet.
Infopark CMS Fiona supports the usage of XML, Java, TCL and Apache. These components played a crucial part for KarstadtQuelle Versicherungen to decide for the CMS of Infopark.</p>
Intranet project
The Intranet was realised by the department “Corporate Communication & Identity” and the IT-coordination for distribution systems in 2002. An encyclopedia especially for consultants is part of the Intranet. It is used as a knowledge base and contains all data and facts that are important to answer frequently asked questions. The encyclopedia was extended by the Infopark Search Cartridge via XML-Interface. Relaunching the Intranet a portal for employees was implemented. Besides newsboards, articles and product information the portal can be personalised by composing a list of favourites.
