Medical association of the federal state Baden-Württemberg
About 52.000 medical professions are represented by the medical association of the federal state of Baden-Württemberg. As public corporation the medical association is bound on the interests of its members.
In 2001 the medical association of the federal state Baden-Württemberg decided to relaunch its internet presence. The restructured website makes it easy to assort information especially for target groups. A three level command structure enables the brief achievement of information. Useful link lists, the download of documents and a forum for letters to the editors are only some of the website’s services.
Matured data were easily transferred into the new content management system. The internet presence is also linked-up to other public corporations and medical associations in the world wide web. With Infopark CMS Fiona the medical association of the federal state Baden-Württemberg is widely independet of extern service providers.
Since its relaunch with Infopark CMS Fiona the website of the medical association of the federal state Baden-Württemberg became even more popular: About 1.208.322 visitors in march 2004 to februrary 2005 in comparison to 672.132 visitors in the previous year.
Medical association Berlin
Since January 2009 the Berlin Medical Association’s internet presence appears in a new look. The web page was once again implemented in association with the DGN. Not only by colour, but also by structure it offers a completely new value. For the first time, each of the four user groups “Physicians”, “Physician Assistant”, “Residents” and “Media” features its own platform which combines all of the important information for the respective audience and can be found simply and fast. As another new feature, a News-Ticker is now located at the bottom of the site, displaying the top ten news as a scrolling newsticker. For simple administration of the website, Infopark CMS Fiona is used, covering more than 100 pages.
Medical Association of the federal state Brandenburg
The Medical Association of the federal state Brandenburg represents the interests from over 1.000 physicians. Since 1997 the Medical Association with its representation in Cottbus provides information for the members of the chamber division Brandenburg via the internet. At first, the internet presence’s purpose was primarily to reflect the duties of the Medical Association. Shortly after, the steadily growing need for information could not satisfy the demands anymore.
Since 1999 the Medical Association successfully uses the Content Management System by Infopark. After each new release, an improvement of the service branch of the internet portal has been achieved. Information and data can be accessed easy and fast. Relevant information for Physicians, Physicians Assistance and interested residents is provided for each audience at any time.
Infopark CMS Fiona features a tree like structure. By relaunching the new site, all of the existing data can easily be administered. The last relaunch was back in 2008 and in the process the navigation structure was revised. The new structuring was done consequently according to user groups. Any news were presented clearly and could be accessed by using a RSS feed.
