Hoffnungstaler Anstalten Lobetal is one of the largest providers of social services in the state of Brandenburg. Its activities include a wide variety of services in different locations.
area42 - one of Infopark’s partners - took care of the project from the beginning to the end. First-class consulting services, innovative ideas for the design and highly trained professionals resulted in a a trouble-free start. Hoffnungstaler Anstalten Lobetal chose Infopark’s CMS Fiona due to its many out of the box features, its ability to import all kinds of office document formats and its powerful search funtions.
The top priority of the design process was a simple user interface while retaining the maximum amount of information of the site. Therefore, the first step was the introduction of a consistent design for each department. The use of such a corporate design makes it easier for each employee to identify him or herself with Hoffnungstaler Anstalten Lobetal, the city of Lobetal and the intranet.
The system includes the following functions:

Wizards - making it easy to create new articles and automatically select news

Integration of an Access database for support requests

Utilization of a Windows directory service for a phone book search
Each department uses its own templates and media repository. The search function is based on Infopark’s search cartridge technology which was configured according to the requirements of the customer.
After the successful launch of the the new intranet, Hoffnungstaler Anstalten Lobetal will be implementing a forum for its employees as well as a calendar.
