Web Accessibility by Using a CMS
An accessible website is not only accessible for disabled users. All visitors benefit from Web accessibility, because they can use the website with all devices like mobile phones etc.
Since 2002 Germany’s equality law is valid for websites too. The "Barrierefreie Informationstechnik Verordnung (BITV)" sets the criteria for accessible websites. Infopark now created a list with all 50 BITV criteria. In this document (available in German language) we show how content management solutions support the BITV criteria.
