The Leibniz Computing Centre buys Infopark CMS Fiona for future web pages

The Leibniz Computing Centre (Leibniz-Rechenzentrum, LRZ) has newly acquired Infopark CMS Fiona, in order to maintain future websites with this enterprise content management system (CMS).
The LRZ provides a wide range of general IT services for universities in Munich as well as the Bavarian Academy of Science. Prior to the purchase of the CMS the LRZ conducted research into the CMS market and was advised by the Ludwig Maximilians University Munich (LMU). The LMU itself evaluated a number of competitive offerings before choosing Infopark CMS Fiona.
Among other things Infopark CMS Fiona could convince through advanced features such as the separation of the live-system and editorial platform. This facilitates convenient maintenance on the editorial platform while leaving the live-system untouched and operational.
