At a press conference, the President of German Bundestag, Norbert Lammert (CDU), introduced the website of the German Bundestag which now presents itself in the new corporate design. Live broadcasts of debates in the Bundestag and the news of the day are brought to 3.5 million users’ notice who visit the website monthly. “Our aim was to build the website in a way that allows users easy and comprehensive access to all our content.”, sayd Lammert, outlining the objectives of the project.

For years the web presence of the German Bundestag has been realized with Infopark CMS Fiona, supervised by Babiel GmbH.

SES S.A. wins IRIS Award

SES S.A. won the 2009 IRIS award in the category “Electronic Communications” for their intranet presence which was built with Infopark CMS Fiona. The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) anually presents the award to companies with innovative communication concepts. SES S.A. competed with many other projects from top businesses who worked together with top communication agencies.

Since 2006, the intranet presence of SES S.A. has been realised with Infopark CMS Fiona. All 1,500 employees have access to internal information and a satellite news portal in a corporate design. Staff are also able to work with the system without any knowledge of HTML thus minimising labor costs and expenditure of time.

SES S.A. is a management holding of satellite operators with headquarters in Luxembourg. The satellite operators SES Astra, SES Americom and SES New Skies belong to SES S.A.

This year’s Infopark Web Dialog Awards were conferred during the Internet Congress iico.de. Kühne & Nagel won the award in the category “Contact & Communication”, EnBW in “Choice & Configuration”, and KissFM in “Community”. Infopark annually awards companies and organizations who practice excellent customer relationship management and customer service over the web. The next Infopark Web Dialog Awards are given in Berlin on May 4, 2010 as a highlight of the 6th iico.de congress (May 3 to May 5, 2010).

The Web Portal “Forced Labor 1939-1945 – Memories and History“ was nominated for the Grimme Online Award 2009 in the category: “Knowledge and Education”. The Online Archive was built in cooperation of the association “Memories, Responsibility and Future” at the “Freie Universität Berlin” and the German Historical Museum. The portal contains about 600 contemporary witness interviews. It was realized with Infopark CMS Fiona.

Here, interested persons and applicants can get an impression of Cirquent as an employer, the people at Cirquent, and the projects they implement.

Regarding the conceptual design of the new career section, Cirquent took advantage of Infopark’s Consultancy Services. As in previous projects, Infopark’s consultants also supported Cirquent in implementing the new section of their website.

Infopark’s Consulting Services helped to further improve the website of Dresdner-Cetelem Creditbank. In order to simplify work procedures, two so-called wizards were added to Infopark CMS Fiona. Firstly, press releases can now be created and archived much easier. Secondly, the human resources department can now produce their job advertisements online. Furthermore, Dresdner-Cetelem Creditbank was given detailed advice regarding the navigation structure of their website.

The DVB Bank has decided to relaunch its internal and external web presences using Infopark CMS Fiona. The Internet presence of DVB Bank now supports both German and English language in addition to numerous contacts and order forms. The new website also includes a secure area to efficiently communicate with selected customers.

The intranet now includes improved tracking of workflows as part of a custom-built “version comparing engine”. It allows users of the intranet to compare the two latest versions of documents online. In addition, the form centre – a special feature developed by Infopark – has simplified the work with the intranet for the employees. Also the new personalized starting page of the intranet is greatly appreciated among the employees of the DVB Bank.
