The Company
Cine Marketing GmbH was founded in December 1992 by Wirtschaftsverband Berliner Filmtheater e.V. and captures cinema programs and film showing dates. While in the beginning only Berlin film programs were taken into account, the company is now active nationwide and counts renowned city magazines, daily newspapers, and online services to their customers.
Highly Specialized Application
Infopark AG was asked to implement a highly customized cinema program acquisition and publishing application for Cine Marketing GmbH. Infopark’s custom solution is a database application. The editors of Cine Marketing use input masks to capture the cinema and film data to be stored in the database. Gathered and then sorted by cinema, location, date, and movie, the company adapts and prepares the data according to their customers’ needs and delivers it. Infopark’s solution enables new types of program overviews and makes work easier for Cine Marketing GmbH as well as for their customers. On the one hand, the functions of Infopark’s application simplify data collection. On the other hand, the huge amount of data, up to 100.000 events per week, can be processed and managed via the database in an uncomplicated way.
Content Reuse
Depending on the desired output format, Cine Marketing GmbH can deliver the data as often as required and tailored to the requirements of the end costumer. This means that the data can be used in different application areas, for producing posters, teletext, overviews in newspapers or on web pages, and others.
