Stifterverband: An Association of Founders in German Science
Stifterverband is a joint initiative of the German industry. Representing around 3,000 companies, business associations and individuals, Stifterverband supports the development of science, research, and higher education. To Stifterverband, Deutsches Stiftungszentrum is associated. DSZ services more than 400 non-profit organizations.
Stifterverband’s sources of funding are donations and membership subscription fees. Due to private financing, Stifterverband is able to act unbureaucratically and free of governmental regulation.
Website Relaunch
As a service partner, Infopark relaunched Stifterverband’s website. CMS Fiona helps to manage their content in a structured way, and also to reuse it, for example on microsites. Online content can be exported to a media station for offline use, for example in presentations.
Download Section
In the “Publications and Podcasts” section, a large amount of multimedia content is offered. Documents, videos, and podcasts can be played or downloaded for free.
Foundations Catalogue
The “Foundations A-Z” (“Stiftungen A-Z”) section provides an alphabetical overview of the foundations. This section, and also “Advancement” (“Förderung”), features an intelligent search function. Here, interested persons can inform themselves about the individual foundations and their advancement programmes. A customer releationship management system was integrated for synchronizing and updating the foundations’ master data on a daily basis. This data can be supplemented with documents and photographic material offered for download.
German Foundations Center (Deutsches Stiftungszentrum)
Deutsches Stiftungszentrum (DSZ) combines the consulting and management competence of all Stifterverband’s foundations. Over 400 foundations rely on the services of DSZ.
The experts of Stiftungszentrum possess all the know-how required in the field of foundations. Thus, DSZ is able to offer full or partial services to those organizations and individuals who wish to become active in a foundation.
The internet presence of Deutsches Stiftungszentrum is also maintained and operated using Fiona.
