Dresdener-Cetelem becomes CommerzFinanz as the website is relaunched with Infopark CMS Fiona

After Commerzbank bought Dresdner Bank, the financial services company Dresdner-Cetelem became Commerz Finanz.

The new subsidiary’s website is designed to harmonize with the corporate design of Commerzbank. The former Dresdner-Cetelem had been serviced efficiently and reliably by Infopark for years, so Infopark was commissioned to implement the new webdesign and relaunch of the website.

First Place for Freie Universität Berlin in Internet Ranking

Freie Universität Berlin achieved first place among German universities in the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities in 2010. For the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities more than 20,000 websites of universities and colleges were compared. The criteria for the ranking were the visibility of the site, search engine results, the linking, the number of citations in Google Scholar (that searches numerous academic servers), and the number of PDF documents, text documents, or presentation slides.

The university’s top position in the Webometrics website comparison was also confirmed in the current “4 International Colleges & Universities” ranking. In this case Freie Universität achieved first place in Germany, 15th in Europe, and 88th worldwide.

Freie Universität Berlin has been maintaining its websites with the content management system Infopark CMS Fiona for several years now.

University of Hamburg convinced by Infopark CMS Fiona

The University of Hamburg decided in favor of Infopark CMS Fiona after a long running selection process. Infopark CMS Fiona won the initial call for bids. Following, in a year long testing phase an efficient operational concept was developed. The university’s management now decided to use Infopark CMS Fiona throughout the university to maintain its web presence.

The University of Hamburg is the first university to use Infopark CMS Fiona with Rails Connector.

Veolia Transport decides for Infopark CMS Fiona

The market leader for private transport in Europe has decided for the website solution by Infopark. In future, the company uses Infopark CMS Fiona to administrate its internet presence. Veolia Transport is supported by the multimedia agency Pinuts media + science. The first project will be the relaunch of the website of the German subsidiary Veolia Verkehr.

Veolia Transport carries about 2.5 billion passengers in 28 countries each year.

iico2010: 96% Recommend the Internet Congress to Others

Ansgar Hein who himself gave a presentation and lead a workshop at the congress, summarizes the iico2010 as follows: “It was one of the best congresses I attended in the past years, regarding the quality of the speakers as well as the organization. My compliments!” As the organizer, we can truly confirm this. NOZ with Infopark CMS Fiona: Not only Providing the Internet Presence

Infopark CMS Fiona has been providing the “Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung” since 2000, to publish in house contributions on the Internet. Editorial contributions and advertisement duties are published daily and fully accessable. The NOZ is not only present with their website, where the number of page visits raised up to three million hits per month, but also in the regional short- and long distance transportation. Information screens at the Münster/Osnabrück airport, as well as passenger-information-systems on busses of the Osnabrück public transport are directly fed out of the CMS content.

Due to the experience of many years with Infopark, the NOZ continues to rely on Fiona. The Web administrators of the 1967 founded newspaper see the benefits of Infopark CMS Fiona especially in its technical core functions, as the unproblematic XML import. The update to the latest version, Fiona 6.7, with modern Rails technoloy, is currently prepared.

2010 Infopark Web Dilaogue Award Winners are Out

As part of the Internet Congress iico.de on the 4th of May 2010 the Infopark Web Dialogue Awards were presented in three categories. The jury has decided, that all three websites offer an outstanding solution in the category of customer service via the web.

podknast.de reached the highest score in the category Community. The web presence of the Leipzig Transportation Enterprise lvb.de was awarded in the category Choice & Configuration. The fu-berlin.de websites convinced the jury in the category Contact & Communication.

German Federal Institute for Real Estate Issues (BImA): Web Relaunch with Infopark CMS Fiona

Since April 2010 the newly designed BImA Website is online. The website has several new features that were realized with the new version of Infopark CMS Fiona. Now the site includes a Sales- and Rental Portal that allows effective real estate search. Furthermore, a new media section was created. Infopark is not only the Software supplier for the BlmA but also a reliable project partner organizing the Website-Relaunch. The Project Manager Christine Braß says: “For us Infopark was a reliable project partner. All aims were realized in time, thanks to the agile project methods.”

Max-Delbrück-Centre: All-In-One Solution by Infopark

Concerning topics like Content Management and Internet-Consulting the Max-Delbrück Centre for Molecular Medicine (MDC) relies on Infopark CMS Fiona and Infopark as All-In-One Service provider.

During an ongoing process Infopark developed a People-, Event, and Job Data Base for the MDC. With this data CMS Fiona is able to feed the internet and intranet of the MDC without any barriers.

Infopark takes part in different discussions at the CeBIT. Thomas Witt talks about the “Future of the Web Managment” on March, 2nd. On March, 5th Bernd Völcker talks about “Social CRM - Customer Service 2.0”. DFG Website Relaunch with Infopark CMS Fiona

Starting from now, the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft offers a modern website that includes a large amount of new content and numerous new functions. It was realized with Infopark CMS Fiona.

Among other things, the website offers to its visitors a new magazine section that deals with DFG-sponsored research, and with research politics issues.

Regarding the website relaunch, DFG president Professor Matthias Kleiner said at the DFG’s New Year’s reception in Berlin: “The website convinces with its leaner structure directed to our target groups, and the new corporate design of the DFG has been implemented.”
